The village Muráň was founded in 1321 near Majer below the Muránsky Castle - one of the highest located castles in the Europe. We offer to you the excellent conditions for all types of walking tours, mountain cycling, horse riding, in winter the downhill slopes and ski running. The village organizes every year the "Rodeo Muráň". Visitors can be accommodated directly in the village, or in the vicinity.
