Vojkovce village 520 m above sea level is located on the southwestern slopes of the Sľubica mountain range 1,129 m above sea level. and is an ideal starting point for
a picturesque ascent to this mountain. In the village there is a sacral building of the church of St. Bartholomew, which follows on from traditions, but does not mechanically adopt historical forms, but develops its own formal language in a combination of something new, modern and traditional. The temple hides something sacred and mysterious at the same time, it was consecrated in 1992. During a walk through the village, you will also fi nd the chapel of St. Ján Nepomucký from 1829. The Borovničák folklore ensemble is an integral part of all cultural events held in the village. Since 2001, KST Sľubica Vojkovce has been operating in the village, which annually organizes the Štefansky climb to Sľubica, which is very popular with the general public.
