The municipality is located in the north-east part of Low Beskydy Mountains, in the valley of river Udava. The fi rst written record comes from 1543. The visitors are captured by the Greco-Catholic Church from 1792 and the Orthodox classicistic Church from 1930, inside which the Crypt of soldiers fallen in the World War I. is located. The information board in design of a bear dominates in Osadné. Other tourist attractions in the surrounding: Nature Preserve Udava, National Park Poloniny, International biking trail to Poland, Forest educational trail Udava and Biescad narrow-gauge railway from Lupkov to Cisna.
